- A clean mouth is a faster healing mouth. Don’t forget to brush your teeth use antibacterial mouthwash.
- If regular mouthwash is too irritating, you may want to try a hydrogen peroxide solution which will also kill bacteria and help you flush out the sore.
- Try eliminating things that may be aggravating canker sores in your diet and changing brands of toothpaste.
- Drinking sage tea may help speed healing if drunk slowly
- Rinsing you mouth with a glass of warm water with a tablespoon of salt dissolved in it may help.
- Rinsing with a vinegar and salt solution may also speed healing.
- Try directly applying a paste of baking soda and water to the canker sore
